Families in Training (FIT) offers a variety of fitness-related programs and events to the area. Owner, Ashley Campolattaro, is a certified Running Coach and Race Director through the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and has a background in marketing and event planning.
FIT delivers the Brambleton Kids Run the Nation program to our area. Brambleton Kids Run the Nation provides a gender-inclusive youth running program that emphasizes FUN while presenting the fundamentals of running.
FIT organizes the Lace Up for Learning 5k & Mascot Mini Mile, a family-oriented fundraising 5k event designed to encourage a healthy lifestyle and engage local communities in support of our schools.
The B_Fit Trail Challenge, co-presented by Fitness Image Results and Families in Training, is a fun way to “exercise your way to the finish line.” Timed waves compete on approximately 2.5 miles of paved trails in Brambleton including 10 fitness stations with a range of strength and agility challenges along the way. This event benefits the pediatric cancer cause through the Smashing Walnuts Foundation.
Families in Training organizes this annual fundraising 5k-10k event on behalf of the Step Sisters, a local non-profit providing quality-of-life services to those facing breast cancer in our area. Ashley is a co-founder of the Step Sisters and currently serves as Vice President.
